I provide mental health support, including maternal mental health services, to women who might be struggling with life’s challenges.
I focus on women, and their partners. If you have suffered the loss of a baby (perinatal loss) whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, or termination or are struggling with pregnancy or postpartum issues, I would love to provide you with the tools and strategies to help you.
I am trained in and comfortable working from a variety of clinical models. I take a person-centred approach, and believe that the therapeutic relationship is built on trust, respect, compassion, acceptance, validation and understanding.
On a personal note, I love being active. Most days you’ll find me in the gym lifting weights, recently I was introduced to crossfit and it’s safe to say I’m hooked! I’ve experienced the positive impact that physical activity has had, not only on my physical health, but on my overall mental wellbeing. It’s generally my go-to stress reliever.
My second passion in life is travelling and learning about diverse cultures. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to volunteer abroad, helping those less fortunate build sustainable living quarters in several developing countries around the world. When I’m not travelling, you’ll find me daydreaming about it!
