The Soulful Balance team is a dedicated group of professional therapists in the Greater Toronto Area who draw on their experience, research, and ongoing studies to help Canadians from all walks of life understand their trauma, work through their depression, heal their wounds, and process their experiences to become the happy, healthy, thriving individuals they deserve to be. Our Approach & Values

At some point in our lives, all of us are going to be caught out in a storm–whether it’s of our own making, someone else’s, or the circumstances we find ourselves in, we’re all going to face difficult challenges and overwhelming turmoil. Being able to recognize the symptoms and process, understand, and treat them is a necessary first step to learning how to navigate the tempest.

That’s what we do at Soulful Balance–we listen to your story, discuss your situation, and process your struggles together with you to understand how you feel, what you need, and where you want to be. Our running quip in the office is that it’s our goal to work ourselves out of a job! We’re not here for the billable hours and constant mulling over the psychosomatic connection with your trauma (although we do research it, mull over it, and learn about it!). We’re here to help you understand where you are, how you got here, and where you want to go on your journey, so that you develop the skills and cognitive patterns to help you thrive.

We do this by utilizing a variety of clinical modalities and approaches, honed by our studies, and tailored to your needs as an individual. Our focused, cultural and gender-sensitive support is designed to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel free to explore the challenges, trauma, or pain you may have. However, you’re feeling is OK–we’re here to see, support and encourage you, and we’re privileged to partner with you in that process.
